A virtual assistant (VA) is an individual who provides business support services online in a range of expertise. They do not work out of your office, but work virtually for you from the comforts of their home offices. Support service areas can include website development and maintenance, marketing, search engine optimization, content writing, graphic design, link building, and our very own specialty – real estate. An MyOutDesk Inc. VA is not your employee, but our employee who provides services through our company for a monthly retainer. 

How do I start the process of obtaining an MyOutDesk Inc. VA?

To begin the process, you can call our toll-free hotline or email one of our managers and provide them with a detailed description of your vacancy and its requirements. We will then select a VA that has the experience and qualifications to meet your requirements. The more detailed your request, the better we can match up the most qualified VA to fit your needs. 

How can I be sure that the VA selected for me is capable?

All of the virtual assistants employed by MyOutDesk Inc. are required to undergo a series of examinations and interviews, and must successfully pass this intensive pre-employment screening process. This involves IQ testing, background checks including personal references, verification of educational requirements and skills-specific tests. When they successfully complete this meticulous process, they are then enrolled in our intensive 1-month training program to ensure they fully understand our practices and procedures, specially the area of work where they will be placed. Our thorough training program assures that all of our VAs have the appropriate skill levels in their particular fields. 

Is it really cheaper to hire a VA than a full-time employee?

This is a no-contest. By using one of our VAs, you only pay a fixed salary for their services.  Overtime is possible, only with your authorization. There are no other hidden fees involved. Hiring a full-time employee makes you liable for all kinds of additional costs such as federal and state payroll taxes, FICA, unemployment insurance, vacation pay, employee benefits and training costs. MyOutDesk Inc. takes care of these.  You also don’t have to worry about paying for any additional office space or equipment costs for desks, chairs, computers, etc.  Our MyOutDesk Inc. Your VAs are located overseas. Will this cause a communication problem for me?

Most certainly not. MyOutDesk Inc. VAs are located where English is a second language. MyOutDesk Inc. VAs hold college degrees and our pre-hire screening process weeds out individuals with poor communication skills. Also, U.S. citizens own and manage our offices, and even use VAs of their own.

How can I accurately track the time of my Virtual Assistant?

How can I trust that my intellectual property is secure?

At MyOutDesk Inc., we recognize that trust is THE most important factors in our relationship with our clients. Therefore, we take steps to ensure your intellectual property is safe. Prior to employment, all of our VAs are required to read, understand and sign a Confidentiality and Non-Compete Agreement. We also have a strict Moral Code that our VAs must abide by or face dismissal and withheld salaries.
